Ack. Can this year get any worse? Dh and I get hit, and his truck gets totaled (not our fault, but because of stupid Michigan no fault insurance-- and because we don't have full coverage-- all we can get is $500), the car doesn't start this week and I have to bum a ride home from work, and today I come home and the basement is flooded. AND we just moved in in the fall and we had tons of boxes down there-- all my cooking and gardening books ruined, not to mention tons of other stuff.

Good news? no yarn, needles or pattern books down there. Whew!
