I went to the library yesterday to pay my huge fine and to reserve some knitting books the system had recently gotten in. I ended up with two frivilous movies (I'm almost embarrassed to say Maid to Order and The Lizzie Maguire Movie) and Elizabeth Berg's latest book, an Alice Hoffman book and a silly chicky-type book. Well, I've been devouring them. I just got them yesterday afternoon and have already read the Elizabeth Berg (fabulous as all her books are) and am halfway through the chicky easy read. I don't know how long it's been since I read a book. With teaching I had no time to read anything except the textbooks to lesson plan. I guess I really missed reading.

Well, I have things to do. I have about 7 packages to mail and lots of laundry to fold. Arg.

I plan on casting on for a poncho (I know, I'm crazy-- it's the middle of summer) later from an Interweave Knits, or possibly a tank of some sort if I can find a decent pattern I like.
