Stash-Enhancement-Xpedition today!
Be warned-- this post is image-heavy.

After seeing the chunkyness of my Cotton-Ease UCan2 tank (and my crappy shoulder seaming), I've been hankering to try out the Chickami tank. As I don't have any light worsted or dk yarn hanging around waiting to be knit, I decided to head out to Michaels to see what they had. I was hoping they would have stocked all the new Patons they're supposed to be getting in, but I found many, many bare shelves. I did, however, find what I came for:

4 skeins Patons Grace (the other ball has just been cast on) in a yummy Tangelo colorway

And I also found this:

5 more balls of Cotton-Ease for Sitcom Chic ($2 a skein!). I think these had just been pulled from the back, because 3 of the skeins were still in the bag! This is a wonderful bright orange called Orangeade.

And here's the picture I promised of my RAOK:

And finally, a picture of my current stash:

It is an absolute mess right now. I love these shelves dh built me. I love being able to see all my yarn-- it's very inspiring. The big basket in the front is where my Red Heart acrylic is kept for charity knitting (teaching yarn and Project Snuggles blankets).
