Sadly, I have not gotten much knitting finished today. I have spent most of the day at the doctor's office-- the OBGYN to be more precise. I'm always uncomfortable waiting in the lobby there because (you know, besides the obvious reasons) I feel as though everyone is looking at me, wondering if I'm pregnant or not, when they *obviously* are. I always get the urge to stand up and shout, "No, I'm not pregnant, and we're not trying right now; I'm merely here for my yearly, ok?" teehee

And I've also had to complete other meaningless tasks like laundry, tomato plant tending (still no red tomatoes, although we have TONS of green ones!), dishes, and bread making. I've been going through Amazon as well, finding books to place on reserve at the library. I think I'm going through a Classics phase. There are so many books I've been meaning to read, and have never gotten around to. I put a few Thomas Hardys on reserve (I loved Jude the Obscure in my college days), Middlemarch, Vanity Fair and a few others.

P.S. Here's my answers to 3 more SP3 questions:

22. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird?
I love frogs, and cats. I don't really keep many knick knacks around, although I do love frog and cat garden statues and such. As far as animated characters go, I don't really think I have one.

23. What is your favorite holiday?
While I love Halloween because it's the start of fall (my favorite season), we don't really do anything for Halloween anymore and don't get any Trick or Treaters here, so I have to say Christmas. I *love* everything about Christmas-- especially decorating for it with pretty snowflake things and snowmen.

24. Is there anything that you collect?
Yarn, obviously, and red kitchen items (mostly vintage). Vintage pyrex bowls, cookbooks (especially those that are put out by certain organizations). I also love pottery and books.
