Knit Knit Knitting Away

Here is my Dad's hat all finished, and yesterday, during lunch at work, I cast on for a hat for my mom. I'm using the same pattern, but her's isn't going to have the ribbing turned up. Both are using the Elann's Highland Wool. And by the way, Elann is coming out with a Highland Wool Chunky after Christmas. I just got their newsletter in the mail today.

After that, I still have to knit a hat for my brother, and 2 hats for Jason. He wants one with a really long turned up ribbing section.

We're going out to dinner tonight. I can't wait. We're not sure where we're going yet, but it's better than the choices at home right now!

In Marzi vs. Patches news, Marzi is listening quite a bit better, and her and Patcho are getting better at not fighting so much. Patches is the instigator most of the time, though.

I can't wait until the big reveal for SP3. I just mailed off the last present for my pal on Tuesday-- she should be getting it soon!

Edited to add: Thanks for all the compliments on Jason's stocking stuffer. I know he's going to get a real kick out of it, too. I really called his bluff on that one. I got the pattern HERE. Wish I was creative enough to have invented it! There's actually even someone knitting these up and selling them on Ebay, if you can believe it. Then again, I suppose you truly CAN find everything on Ebay.
