I'm a slight yarn snob. I really prefer wools and cottons to anything else. As far as Lion Brand, I do enjoy Landscapes and the cotton yarn. I don't really like Red Heart. I also don't tend to use novelty yarns.
2. Do you spin? Crochet?
Nope, but I do want to learn to spin in the future. I have a drop spindle.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.)
No, but smoke and many perfumes do irritate me.

Satsuma and other citrusy scents, all Pier One candles. I don't like Bath and Body Works products-- their scents irritate Jason, my dh

YES! I absolutely ADORE dark chocolate, Mexican hot cocoa, flavored teas, and dark coffees
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?
I make soap, lotion and lip balm and do a bit of scrapbooking.
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
Bluegrass, jazz, modern rock, 80s rock and yep I can play MP3s.
10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer?
I love all shades of oranges and greens. I also love blues, and anything rich or earthy. I don't like pastels or very bright colors and I look horrible in yellow.
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
It's me, my dh Jason, our Yellow Lab puppy Marzipan, and Patches the cat
12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know)
To be happy, spend a lot of time with my family, lots of time knitting and reading and just enjoying life
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?
Anything wool. I love the Highland Wool from Elann, Lamb's Pride, Cascade 220, Handpaintedyarn.com's merino, Paton's Classic Wool, etc. I've also been dying to try the Andes and Merino yarn from Knitpicks. I'm a simple, down to earth gal when it comes to yarn. I do knit washcloths from cotton as well.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
I don't really use novelty yarns.
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?
I'm really getting into sweater knitting. I like knitting tanks with dk weight cotton, and I'm hoping to try a few knit in the round pullovers from wool (the Elann Highland Wool or Patons Classic Wool). I also like quick projects like hats.
16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
I'd say probably hats, purses, scarves, socks, tanks. hmmm that's about everything LOL

I knit one last fall. Not sure if I'd knit another. I'm really looking forward to knitting a few shawls though-- Charlotte especially, and I just checked Folk Shawls out of the library.

Yes, I love sock yarns and handknit socks, but I haven't had the patience to knit any lately

I love moose and sheep! Anything with moose or sheep on it always makes me happy. I also like frog and cat garden statues and bad 80s cartoons-- Shirt Tales, Jem, Snorks, Smurfs, etc.

Christmas of course, but Valentines Day and my birthday are fun, too.

Glass Christmas ornaments, Moose or Sheepy things, cute cards, things with snowmen and snowflakes, and socks. There is nothing better than putting on a new pair of socks, knit or otherwise.
