I must be in a joining mood. In the past 24 hours, I have joined Knit One Read Too-- I am going to readalong on February's book, January's doesn't look like it would interest me, February Flower Exchange and Secret Pal 4. I guess I could just use a little cheering up and friendly support.

I also donated to the Doctors Without Borders charity after reading Yarn Harlot's post. Check out how much knitters have raised-- as I'm writing this, the total is $15007 and counting. Amazing, isn't it? I only wish I could donate more, but as we don't even know how we're going to afford fuel oil this month, I gave what I could. The holidays suck for a substitute teacher; yes I'm lucky to be off work, but no paycheck. BUT no whining. We are lucky in so many ways, I don't deserve to whine about it.

Well, I am going to sit here with my tea and try to keep warm. More snow is on the way. We got about 3 inches overnight, and they're expecting 4-6 more tonight. Glad I have some nice new pjs, my knitting and good tv tonight!
