Knitting News

I started a sleeve of the Hourglass Sweater yesterday! I worked on that for a little bit, but we went to bed early, so I cast on for a dishcloth for a bit of "bed knitting." Does anyone else knit in bed? It drives Jason a little crazy sometimes, and sometimes it's a bit awkward, but I admit, I knit in bed occasionally.

Soaping News

I made a batch of Cranberry Fig today with Australian red clay-- it smells yummy. I left to go to the store, and when I came back in, the house just smelled delicious. Tomorrow, I think I'm going to make a batch of Very Sexy for men. I haven't decided how I'm going to color it though.

And shamelessly stolen from A Case of Fiber Fever, here is another list.

Grooming Products
Shampoo--either Aloe Vera 80 or Pure Essentials by Earth Science are my usuals, but I must admit I'm rather addicted to shampoo and will try and use just about everything.
Moisturizer--I don't use moisturizer, but I use my own handmade lotion
Cologne-- Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret or Chance by Chanel
Razor--Venus
Toothpaste--Toms of Maine peppermint, non fluoride
Electronics
Cell phone--Motorola Nextel phone, Sony Cyber-shot Digital Camera, Minolta SLR Camera
Computer--Dell laptop
Television--one that is surely dying. You have to wait 15 minutes to watch tv after you turn it on. I think it's a Panasonic. We have a littler one in the bedroom, but the sound is going out in it.
Stereo--No clue the brand, but it's got a tape deck, 5 disk cd changer and a record player. I LOVE the record player. It came from the JC Penney catalog a long time ago-- Christmas present from my parents.
Home
Sheets-- Nothing under 300 thread count, or we like the t-shirt jersey sheets, too
Coffee-maker-- Cuisenart Grind n Brew
Car--black '98 Jeep Wrangler Jason drives a '99 Jeep Cherokee
Stationery-- ? I like Hallmark cards and I love all postcards...
Beverages
Bottled water--I use Nalgene bottles and fill 'em myself
Coffee-- I love Starbucks, but usually buy Maxwell House
Vodka-- Skyy
Beer-- Guinness or Tilted Kilt
Wine -- Yellow Tail Shiraz (not 2004 vintage!) or Macaroni Grill's Chianti
Clothes
Jeans-- Levi's Low Rise
T-shirt-- whatever strikes me as cute or nice. I'm currently addicted to wearing my Peace on Earth ringer tee
Briefcase or tote-- I like North Face for totes, I make my own purses, and use a handmedown briefcase
Sneakers-- Vans or the Vasques boots I just bought for *cheap*
Watch-- Timex
Favorite Places
Home, Yarn Store, online, at my mom's
Necessary Extravagance
Yarn, Soaping supplies, our '64 Lincoln Continental with suicide doors, my big tires on my Jeep
