Yes, I'm still alive! I just haven't had much time for knitting lately. Still plugging away on my Here and There Cables scarf and the Hourglass sweater. The problem is, I don't feel like working on them. I'm achy today; I really hope I'm not coming down with something. I may be going to the doctor later this week-- I've been having some ear/hearing issues. Every time I lay on my left side to sleep, I wake up feeling as though I'm hearing underwater in that ear. It's really strange. I don't have any symptoms of a sinus infection, so it has me a little worried.

Friday night, we went out to dinner with a few friends, Saturday night we went bowling with a few other friends, and last night we went to Jason's boss's house for dinner. We had such a social weekend; it was really emotionally draining for this anxiety-ridden gal. Everything went really well, though, so my worries were for nothing.

I subbed kindergarten this morning. Boy was that exhausting! I usually don't take kindergarten jobs because I just don't do well with that young of a group (I prefer Middle School), but there was a mix-up, so I was stuck there. I feel utterly and completely drained. Good thing I have an easy dinner planned. I have spinach casserole in the crockpot, and I'm going to heat up some Gardenburger Riblets to go with it. I think I might take a nap, or at least settle in on the couch with some tea and the television.
