Oh I got the sweetest little gift from my SP today! She even included a little something for Marzi and Patches! I'll try to post more details (including a picture) tomorrow if I can. I will say that Marzi is already having fun playing with her gift, and Patches is sleeping, or I'm sure he would be, too! Thank you so much SP. Marzi has tried to snag my gifty, but I won't let her-- it's too cute!

While waiting for my Handpainted yarn to arrive, I've begun working on the Hourglass Sweater from Last Minute Knitted Gifts again. I'm on the sleeve, and I'm just not feeling very motivated to work on it.

I did knit while watching the Super Bowl yesterday though. I must admit that I didn't even know who was playing until yesterday, but once I found out that the Patriots have won it so many times already, I had to root for Philadelphia. I used to be a huge football fan (way back in Junior High-- go Bengals!-- back when they were really good and went to the Super Bowl themselves), so I can follow the game quite well, and I tend to get a little "into it" if you know what I mean. You know, yelling at the screen, cussing, etc. Kind of crazy when I didn't even know who was playing until Sunday morning! I didn't think the commercials were too impressive, but I did think that the spaghetti sauce/cat/knife one was pretty funny, as was the other one by the same company (of which I can't even remember), with the guy supposedly robbing the convenience store while talking on his cell phone. The halftime show, on the other hand, was just plain boring. A Beatles fan I once was, but Paul McCartney was not my favorite, and the fact that he just keeps banking on his Beatles-driven fame grates my nerves a little.

P.S. If you missed the Super Bowl and want to see the commercials go here.
