Sockotta Socks

Being modeled by my feet

Opal socks

I'm not sure if I really like the primary colors. I think I would like them more if the red or yellow wasn't there-- it's almost too much with all the colors being there. Of course I'll wear them though! I tried to match up the stripes, but I'm a little off. I'm not too picky about it though, so no big deal.

Here is the yarn I'm going to use for the next pair, from my Secret Pal 2, Christina. I've not knit with Lorna's Laces before, so I can't wait to try it out.
Lorna's Laces for next pair

I sent Jason this page to look at some sock yarn and imagine my surprise when he picked out colorway 5343. I just so happened to have a ball of that yarn in my stash! I did have to order a second ball though. We'll see how far the colors are off from each other-- he insisted I not order 2 balls to ensure they were well matched. I actually made my first sock with that yarn, and ended up knitting the heel inside out (with the purl side facing out). I never knit a match for it, but I was so proud to turn that heel (even though it was inside out)! LOL I also ordered This yarn for a complimentary pair of socks for me, and This Sockotta. Notice the color? Yeah, I usually don't buy pink, but I love bright colorful socks, so I think I'll like this knit up.
