I do have lots of pictures to post though, so let's get started. First up, is Patches. I must say, he enjoys one thing that my SP4 sent much more than any of the others. In fact, he's been spending almost all his time in it.

And here is a picture of Marzipanini (we call her that when she's being cute) so she doesn't feel left out. She is getting so big, and so smart! She already knows: sit, down, go to bed, shake, what's that (cue to bark and run to the window), lay down, up up, come, and she's almost learned speak.

This is one completed Broadripple. I still have to cast on for the second, but I think it turned out fantastic. Jason says it looks like an 80s Hot Air balloon. I can't figure out if that's a compliment or not.

And here's the sock I cast off on last night. It's made out of the Regia 6 and it's wonderfully soft, thick and squishy. I really like the tight fabric I got on this (I knit it on size 2s), so I ordered a set of size 1s yesterday to knit my next sock on. The only 1s I could find, however, were bamboo or metal, and as I despise metal, I ordered the bamboo. I don't know if I'm going to like how toothpick-y they are. I've already cast on for the second of this sock.

It looks really fat and funny in this picture, but that's probably because I wet blocked it on my foot, and I didn't do that to the others before I took a picture.
And here are the answers to my questions from Suzie's interview.:
1. What kind of dance did you do for 13 years? My SIL is a modern dancer, so I always like to ask!
I started dance classes when I was 5 years old, and took ballet, point, modern, jazz and tap. I only took tap for a few years, but my favorite was probably modern. I miss it sometimes, but I was never fantastic at it. It did help to get some good parts in my High School Musicals though!
2. What IS the deal with Rachael Ray?
I'm not really sure, but she seems to have a zillion shows! I must confess that I enjoy watching 30 Minute Meals (I get a few ideas sometimes) and $40 a Day occasionally. I don't like the one where she interviews celebrities at all, and I absolutely can't stand when she has a guest on 30 Minute Meals-- she's way to bossy. And don't get me started on the whole EVOO Extra Version Olive Oil thing!
3. Favorite Simpsons Character?
Well, I'm going to have to say Lisa! I love that she's smart, still sarcastic and a little angst-ridden.
4. If you could only knit with one kind of sock yarn, what would it be?
Of all the sock yarns I've knit with, I'd say it would be a toss-up between Regia and Lorna's Laces. I LOVE the feel of the Lorna's Laces, and I love the stripes and thick-ness of the Regia. However, from seeing and feeling my few skeins of Koigu I have in my stash, you may have to ask me again after I knit a pair with them-- they'll certainly be in the running, I'm guessing, if they don't take over the lead!
5. How would you spend your "dream day"? (Money, location, no object of course...)
Mmmm in a warm climate with a beach and a HUGE yarn store that has the biggest selection I've ever seen of deep jewel-tone colors. Think rich purples, reds, burghandys, greens, blues. Everything would be reduced 75% (what girl doesn't love a bargain even if money's no object?!), and then we'd have super-rich Italian food (pasta, garlicky veggies, tiramisu) to eat with lots of red wine. And of course, we'd end the day knitting on the beach. I think we'd have to be camping, too; I love camping.
Here are the rules for this Blog-a-thon--I'll offer to interview the next how many ever people to respond to this post that will follow these rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying "interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions here. They will be different questions than the ones above.
3. You will update YOUR blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
