Grrrr. Jason goes out of town and we run out of fuel oil. It's his our fault, but I've been waiting around all day for the fuel oil company to deliver, and it's now almost 6 and they still haven't shown up! I'd like to relax and eat dinner and change into my PJs but I can't because they probably won't might show up. We were hoping our last fill-up would last us, as we're considering changing to propane next year and didn't want to waste, but obviously it didn't.

Anyway, I have finished one Broadripple sock. I took pictures but the camera batteries are dead, so you'll have to wait to see them. Instead of casting on for the second, I cast on for a basic pattern from the Regia 6 my SP4 sent me. I'm on the leg now. I hope the SSS (second sock syndrome) doesn't happen with the Broadripple, but I needed a break with a basic pattern. I must admit, though, the Broadripples are so much easier than they look! The pattern was easy to memorize and look so complicated when it really isn't. If you were thinking about knitting, but haven't because it looks hard, have no fear! If Lisa can do it, you'll have NO trouble :)

I must go and find something for me to watch this evening and wait for the fuel oil delivery person if when he/she shows. I'm sad that basketball is on instead of my normal Thursday CBS programming. And I was very sad when Angie got booted off Survivor last night! What a cruel twist the show took! Grrrrrrr

Send me warm thoughts if the fuel oil is not delivered! As we are OUT OUT OUT and the heater hasn't been running all day. Brrrrr. Good thing I have a nice warm green sweatshirt to wear for St. Paddy's Day today. I'll probably have to pull out the electric blanket tonight. I wish I had a Guinness to drink, but I'll make do with a glass (or two) of wine.
