Just a quick post before I leave for work! I wanted to tell more about my great SP gift I received yesterday. She sent me Knit Socks (the book I've been wanting-- I've already flipped through and found a couple great ideas), a fantastic hank of Lorna's Laces (love the colors!), 2 balls of Regia 6 ply (I was just thinking of trying a little bit thicker pair of socks!), 2 skeins of Bernat Sox-- I'm thinking I'll pair these up with the 2 skeins I already have in that same color (how funny!) and make a stocking, a super-cute sheep (he's so fuzzy!), a skein of the Knitpicks Merino sock yarn (I love these colors, too! The green is just beautiful), a Greenie for Marzipan (she devoured it yesterday-- she LOVES greenies), a little mouse for Patches (he rolled all over it yesterday) and the cutest little Knit card that has a project for a kid's sweater on it! Thank you so much SP!

In knitting news, I finished the Lana Grossa socks last night and cast on for Broadripple with some Regia I had. I've finished the cuff and am on the leg so far. I hope to get a lot of knitting done at work today while the kids are in specials and during lunch.
