Snow day today! I was supposed to work today, but after checking the news I was able to go back to sleep as we had a snow day. We got about 5 inches overnight and it's still snowing. We already had about 5 on the ground still from the last snowfall.

Since it's a snow day, I'm hoping to get a lot done on Jason's socks (among other boring things like cleaning the house, laundry and doing dishes). I was able to cast on for them yesterday. Here's my progress so far:

Here's my delectable Lorna's Laces sock. I can't wait to knit up the 2nd in the pair, they feel absolutely delicious! I believe I'm getting an addiction to this yarn already...

I have tried and tried to get a picture of Marzi this morning! She keeps jumping around when I finally get the camera to work. Jason stopped at Petco on his way home yesterday and thoroughly spoiled her with treats and toys (I can't imagine what it will be like when we have kids!), and I wanted to get a shot of her with her new ball, but it was not to be. Here's the one I was finally able to snap of her. She looks so silly!

I received my KR Secret Pal match yesterday and can't wait to get started on that. I'll be putting together a package in a few days for her and for my sp4. To my SPs, I've added a Froogle wishlist in my sidebar, but keep in mind, I mostly made it for my family (for Birthdays and such) and for a list for myself-- I certainly don't expect you to purchase most of the things on there-- it's quite large! The big ticket items are so I can keep track when family and Jason asks me what I want for my birthday :)
