I will not even admit how many pieces of sterling silver jewelry I've purchased today. A hint: you cannot count all the pieces of jewelry I've purchased (total, not today) on one hand, but you can count them with two. So I guess it's not that many considering they're less than $6 each! The window stays open constantly, all day long, to see what shall appear next. Some things haven't even lasted their full 15 minutes; a few things got sold out right from underneath me like the amethyst earrings. Oh well.

I have completed less than one hand's worth of rows on the heel of my socks this weekend. We spent all day yesterday and today outside doing yardwork and I'm SORE. Not to mention a leeeetle bit sundburnt, but I am in a much happier mood (yay for the sun!). I'd be in an even better mood if Jason would stop watching crappy movies we've already seen (read Daddy Daycare, Kill Bill 2, etc). But I suppose I can forgive, since he's as pooped as I am.

Thanks for the lace recommendations! I'm still looking for more, though, if any of you have any great beginner's lace patterns. I did look at Branching Out, and I do want to knit it in the future, I'm just looking for a small to medium sized shawl right now. I need something to wear over a sundress to my cousin's wedding reception and my brother's graduation at the end of May.
