I love living in the country! Lookie what I found.

This is growing on the side of the house. We didn't plant it, and I don't think it was there last year, but dh used roundup on that side of the house last year, so he could have killed it last year:

I also took Marzi out back last night and way down by our burn pile we had little pinkish flowers. Well, I looked them up and they're wild geraniums (they're also called crane's bill), so I dug some up and put them in my garden:

Here are some pictures of a few mints I potted up. I'll need to replace the pots with bigger ones-- they've grown a ton in the 2 days I've had them!

The bigger pot has peppermint, spearmint and orange mint, and the little pot has pineapple mint and some thyme. I used to have chocolate mint and a few others way back when we lived in the apartment, but they didn't survive. I'm hoping to get a huge variety of mints.

I also planted 2 kinds of basil, oregano, lavender, a Cherokee Purple tomato plant, a Green Zebra tomato plant, a few bush tomato plants, parsley, and a blue pincushion flower yesterday. I was hoping to get a little done today, but it's raining. Poo.

In knitting news, I started a Boobholder aka MiniSweater a few days ago, and will try to get pics later on. I decided to add ties to it, instead of a button closure, and I'm currently about to start the sleeves which means I'm almost done! It's a really quick knit. I'm using the elusive Cotton Ease in popsical.

Speaking of popsicles (which is how it should be spelled, not popsical as Lion Brand spells it), did you know they're making Jello Pudding Pops again??? I was not aware of this, but I made sure to buy a box yesterday at Meijer. They're delicious, even if they are smaller than they used to be! yum yum

ETA: Thanks to all the people that let me know the mystery plant is a Jack in the Pulpit!!
