I looked through all my spring/summer magazines last night, browsed through my knitting books, and pored over my two binders filled with printed patterns, and I'm still stumped. I cast on for a wrap in two different yarns, switched needles twice and didn't like what I was coming up with. I worked part of the Itty Bitty Bear pattern from the Summer IK and then flubbed up the nose shaping. I'm knitting stumped. I MAY cast on for the Tempting sweater, but I haven't decided if I want to use up more of my Cotton Ease yet or not. After all, there could be an even better pattern around the corner that it would be perfect for. I must think, now, is this pattern Cotton Ease worthy?
I hit a Michael's today looking for 3 balls of Patons Katrina and of course Cotton Ease and they had neither. Boo.
I had a rough morning and needed a yarn pick-me-up and couldn't even get that. I had an appointment at a temp agency at 9:45 am this morning, and didn't get out until 12:30. Almost 3 freaking hours! I had to take a grammar test, a punctuation test, a math test, an Excel test, a Word test and a typing test. I did fine, and even typed 87 wpm. Not too shabby; those 3 classes of Typing in HS paid off! I hope the temp thing works out. It'll be nice to have a M-F job over the summer and not have to work retail AGAIN. Anyone ever work for a temp agency? I'm pretty nervous about it as I don't have that much experience working in an office.
Here's a pic of the unblocked Boobholder sweater
I decided to do seed stitch edging instead of garter, took out the puff in the sleeves, and did little ties instead of a button.
And here's my matching Chickami. The teal in the Shine yarn perfectly matches the Popsical Cotton Ease even though it doesn't look it in the picture, so I'm hoping to wear both of these with a pair of Capris to my brother's Graduation Party this upcoming weekend.
