Yes, I'm still alive, just not feeling too cheery this Christmas season. Things aren't going so great on the TTC (trying to conceive) front-- the clomid I'm on is giving me night sweats and making me a crazy woman, but it isn't doing what it's supposed to do, and my estimated due date on my lost pregnancy is in January, which is really rough. I really thought I'd have a big belly and be uncomfortable and happy over the holidays, but it wasn't meant to be.
We didn't even put up a tree this year. We usually go and cut our own every year, but we were in Florida last weekend, and Jason is still gone until tomorrow, and then we leave for my parent's house next weekend, so there really isn't much point in putting one up. I do have a tiny tabletop tree up with all the Ornament Swap ornaments I've received though.
In other happier news, I did finish two pair of socks ;) Ok so one's a mini pair-- it still counts, right? Work has been super-crazy, and I'm not done with all my Christmas shopping yet. I think I need to relax with a nice boring scarf project, a big cup of hot cocoa and all my favorite Christmas movies. Maybe that will make me feel less bah humbug.
